C.A.R.E. program

C.A.R.E. Program
Character and Relationships Education Program

The C.A.R.E. presentation includes parental involvement and encourages communication within the family.  Conducted as part of the curriculum in the Findlay City and Hancock County schools, grades 6-10, the program's goal is to reach teens with the abstinence-until-marriage message so they can look forward to safe and successful futures.  As C.A.R.E. program directors, Linda Theis and Diane Poehler hope to influence students' attitudes and behaviors as they affect a healthy lifestyle.  Research shows that parents' openness about this subject matter is very important to a son or daughter's success in this area of life.  Linda and Diane feel privileged to partner with you (the parents) in the education of the young people in the community.
